Ron's Guide

I'm trying to find out whether opening a forum will be a wast of time or not. Please let me know your thoughts on this poll. Would you be an active member of the forum if I opened one for Ron's Guide?

Are you talking about using Proboards (or something like that) or coding a small message board yourself?

Right, if there were enough votes for yes, it would be a small message board that I coded myself.

I think this is a great idea Ron, and I for one would be active should you provided one. However I wouldn't be so sure if you were going to use something like ProBoards. Hopefully you'll decide to use more appropriate software.

Ron will be using a forum service he's been coding on his own if and when the forums is put up. From what I understand, it'll also have integration with the current site, so I'm sure it'll be great

As was stated, I will be using a forum that I have been coding myself. I am curious though, what do you mean by "more appropriate software" when referring to ProBoards?

if you coded it yourself i' say alot of people would use it, people like something new and different
